Pino Daeni, commonly known simply as Pino, was an Italian artist renowned for his vibrant and evocative paintings. Born Giuseppe Dangelico in Bari, Italy, in 1939, Pino developed a passion for art early in life. He studied at Italy's prestigious Art Institute of Bari and later at Milan's Academy of Brera, honing his skills in painting and drawing.

Pino's work is characterized by his use of bright, rich colors and his focus on the human figure, particularly the female form. His paintings often depict romantic, nostalgic scenes that evoke a sense of warmth and emotion. He was influenced by the Pre-Raphaelites and Italian Renaissance artists, and his style can be described as a blend of realism and impressionism.

In the 1970s, Pino moved to the United States, where he initially worked as a book illustrator. His illustrations graced the covers of many romance novels, earning him a significant following. Eventually, he transitioned to focusing on fine art, and his paintings have been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world.

Pino's art continues to be celebrated for its emotional depth and technical mastery, capturing moments of tenderness and beauty. He passed away in 2010, but his legacy endures through his timeless works.
